A non-fungible token (NFT) is a special kind of token in the crypto world. Individual tokens are based on a sequence/string of characters that cannot be copied or exchanged. Protected lenses of this type are becoming more and more popular in the crypto universe. Artists and sports clubs, among other things, are now issuing their own NFTs in order to capitalize on the hype. Big companies like eBay are also opening up to the NFT market.
